Addressing the critical needs of food security and clean water, Amigos implements sustainable agricultural practices, nutrition education, and constructs deep water wells in underserved communities. These initiatives not only combat hunger and disease but also empower communities towards self-sufficiency.​

Amigos Internacionales is transforming education in rural Uganda by constructing sustainable schools like Open Hands Academy, Harvest of Hope, and Far Vision School. These institutions provide quality learning environments, breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering children with the tools to shape their futures.​

In regions with limited healthcare access, Amigos organizes medical camps and establishes clinics to provide essential services, including general consultations, dental care, cancer screenings, and heart health services. These efforts bring critical medical assistance to thousands, fostering healthier communities.​

The Impact We’ve Already Made – And What’s Next
Here’s how your donations have been used in past projects:
- Building Schools: Creating and building schools in the refugee settlement areas of Northern Uganda, presently we have over 850 children in schools that previously had no school to attend.
- Clean Water & Health Project (2022): Installed five deep water wells, reducing waterborne diseases and giving thousands access to safe drinking water—a critical step in preventing illness.
- Ogul Village Medical Camp (March 2025): Over 1,500 patients received free medical checkups, life-saving treatments, and vaccinations in a three-day intensive health initiative.
