PLANT CHURCHES. RESTORE COMMUNITIES. CARRY THE GOSPEL ACROSS MULANJE.
To speak the truth of love
Mulanje District, Malawi · Led by Pastor Victor Phiri · Three Agape Baptist churches.
Why Malawi?
Malawi is often called the "Warm Heart of Africa" because of the kindness, resilience, and faith of its people. Yet behind that reputation lies a difficult reality. Many families still struggle to access clean water, quality education, reliable healthcare, and opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods.
In the rural communities of Mulanje District, these challenges affect children every day. Parents work hard to provide for their families, but limited resources often make it difficult to break the cycle of poverty. Children walk long distances for water, schools operate with few resources, and families remain vulnerable to economic hardship caused by drought, crop failure, and limited employment opportunities.
Despite these challenges, Malawi is also a place of tremendous opportunity. Communities are eager to work, churches are active and engaged, and local leaders are committed to creating a better future for the next generation.
Why Amigos Is Investing in Malawi
Amigos Internacionales believes lasting transformation happens when communities are strengthened both physically and spiritually.
Through MissionPoint Malawi, we are partnering with local churches, schools, and community leaders to create sustainable centers of hope that address the most pressing needs of rural families.
Our approach focuses on:
- Providing access to clean and safe water
- Strengthening educational opportunities for children
- Supporting child protection and family stability
- Expanding food security and agricultural development
- Creating opportunities for skills training and economic growth
- Equipping local churches to share the Gospel and disciple believers
Rather than addressing a single problem, MissionPoint seeks to transform entire communities through a holistic model of development rooted in local ownership and Christian compassion.
Why Donor Partnership Matters
Every investment in Malawi creates opportunities that extend far beyond a single project.
A clean water source improves health, reduces time spent collecting water, and allows children to spend more time in school.
Educational support helps children gain the knowledge and confidence needed to pursue brighter futures.
Agricultural training and livelihood development strengthen families and help communities become more self-sustaining.
Church partnerships provide spiritual encouragement, leadership development, and a foundation for long-term community growth.
Because MissionPoint initiatives are led in partnership with local leaders, donor support creates lasting impact that continues long after a project is completed.
A Vision for Lasting Transformation
Our goal is not simply to meet immediate needs. Our goal is to help communities build a future where children can thrive, families can flourish, and local churches can serve as centers of hope and leadership.
With your partnership, MissionPoint Malawi can continue expanding access to clean water, education, community development, and discipleship throughout the Mulanje District and beyond.
Together, we can help create healthier families, stronger communities, and lasting opportunities for generations to come.
One Mission. One Focus. One Life-Changing Goal.
