How Missionpoint Plants a Church
Missionpoint is not a single program. It is a seven-stage pathway that begins with land and relationships, and grows into a self-sustaining community of faith. Every church in the network is somewhere on this journey.

Land
A community partner donates land for the church and surrounding ministry.

Water
A clean water well is drilled on the property to serve the church and village.

Church
A permanent worship structure is built so the congregation can gather year-round.

School
A school or multi-purpose learning center opens beside the church.

Life Skills
Agriculture and life-skills training equip families with sustainable livelihoods.

Leaders
The pastor and lay leaders enter the Missionpoint pastoral training program.

A Church Began Under a Tree
In Tanzania, a Pentecost outreach led by Pastor Abogasti became something no one fully planned for. Eighty people received Christ. Eighty were baptized. Those same eighty became the founding members of Mwakalundi Baptist Church — gathered for their first worship service in the shade of a tree.
